High
Voltage Diagnostics Sarl (HVDSA) have pioneered an innovative method of locating the
position of faults in oil-filled
cables that addresses the problems
associated with the traditional
method of exposing and freezing
portions of the cable until the
fault location is isolated.
Weight
22kg (48,5lbs). Test Voltage up to
75kV. Internal Battery External
12V Supply. Direct measurement of
output voltage. Measurement of
silicone oils.
Weight
32kg (70,5lbs). Test Voltage up to
100kV. Internal Battery External
12V Supply. Direct measurement of

The
single piece HVA30 is not only the
most advanced high voltage VLF
(Very Low Frequency) test system
available; it is also the
lightest, most compact instrument
of its type on the market.
The
HVA30/5has a very
advantageous power / weight ratio.
At 50kgs the HVA30/5 is one the
lightest VLF test systems of its
rating available today. Apart from
the VLF output the HVA30/5 can
also produce either polarity DC
together with a cable sheath
/jacket testing modes.
The
HVA60 is capable of testing 1µF
(Approx. 10,000 ft/ 3000m of
cable) at 0.1Hz and 60kV peak. The
frequency of the output can also
be reduced allowing even larger
capacitance loads to be tested. At
0.02Hz, approx. 50,000 ft/15,000m
of cable can be tested.
The
HVA90 is capable of testing 1μF
(Approx. 3300m / 11,000 ft of
cable) at 0.1Hz and 64kV rms. The
frequency of the output can also
be reduced allowing even larger
capacitance loads to be tested. At
0.01Hz, approx. 33,000m /
100,000ft of cable can be tested.
Tan
Delta testing enables the cable
test engineer to detect insulation
defects before the cablefails in
service. The TD30is
a versatile tan delta measuring
system that is directly connected
the HVA series of VLF test
systems.
The
TD60 measures up to
a max voltage of 44kVrms (or 62kV
peak). The TD60 is a battery
powered system that is diectly
connected to the HVA30 Series of
VLF Test systems.
A
Partial Discharge is a partial
electrical breakdown in the
dielectric material which does not
bridge the dielectric between the
conductor and the concentric
neutral. The unit of partial
discharge measurement is the Pico
Coulomb (pC).
